What if your bench/pillow doesn’t work for me?
We have a 100% money back guarantee. If our bench does not work for you, you can send it
back for a complete refund.

Another service we offer is to work with you to find the right height and angle for your bench.
Our goal is to make a bench that will enable you to sit comfortably for as long as possible. We
have found through years of experimentation, that our standard size bench will work for most
people, but that no bench size will work for everyone. If you need a
custom bench size we can
make it for only $10.00 more than our standard bench price.

Also now with our folding benches, if you are not satisfied with the leg height or style you can
swap them out for a different type of folding leg. Free of charge!

What wood do you use in your benches?
The legs are made from Western Alder, a hardwood native to Northern California, Oregon and
Washington. Alder is a beautiful and sturdy hardwood that is not as dense and heavy as Oak
or Maple. The tops of the upholstered benches are made from Birch plywood for stability and
strength.

What are the dimensions of your standard bench?
The tops of our benches are 7”x18”. The front of the bench is 6 1/2” off the floor and the back
is 8” high (tall bench is 1" taller, front and back). These measurements take into account some
compression of the padding. Our solid wood meditation benches are about an inch shorter
than this because there is no padding.

The length of the angled leg is:
Regular: 5" in front and 6 1/4" back.
Tall: 6" front 7 1/4" back
The length of the round leg is:
Regular: 5 5/8" at the tallest point.
Tall: 6 1/2" at the tallest point.

How long will the padding and/or fabric last, and what do I do when it wears
out?
We have found that our padding will give satisfactory service, if used on a daily basis, for at
least 2-5 years. Whenever you feel that the padding is no longer sufficient, you can send the
bench to us and we will completely reupholster it and ship it back to you for $24.00. We have
found that the fabrics we use seldom wear out.

At the same time you might also like have your bench personally engraved.  (Scroll down on
our
bench page to read more about this option.)

What is Eco-Wool?
Our eco-wool comes from small farms in Northern California. The wool produced is routinely
checked for traces of pesticides and herbicides.  It is washed and processed without bleach or
other harsh chemicals. The detergent used to clean the wool leaves behind no detectable
residue and is biodegradable.

How should I clean my meditation shawl?
Embroidered Pashmina: Hand wash in cool water with gentle soap (a small amount of
shampoo can work well and is gentle on your hands). Make sure to thoroughly mix the soap
into the water before washing the shawl. Lay flat to dry. You can roll your shawl in between two
towels to press some of the water out of it to help it dry more quickly. Do not dry in the dryer.

Ahimsa silk: Hand wash in cool water with a small amount of gentle soap. Make sure to

any scrubbing will lead to pilling.

Ahimsa silk fabric will change its appearance over time with washing - it becomes softer and
has less of a sheen. If you want to keep the original sheen it is best to have it professionally
dry cleaned.

Deluxe Pashmina: Dry clean only. Though pashmina wool is very strong these shawls are so
delicately woven we highly recommend having them professionally cleaned.

Cleaning Your Yoga Paws

How do I wash my Yoga-Paws grips?
The easiest and best way to wash your Yoga-Paws grips is to flip them inside out, so that the
towel lining is exposed, put them back on like gloves and wash your hands under the sink in
cold water a gentle soap. Dr Bronners is a great one!. Then just lay them out and air Dry.

Can I put my Yoga-Paws grips in the washing machine?
We DO NOT recommend that you put your paws in the washing machine. But if you must, put
the machine on delicate, cold water, and place the Yoga-Paws in a delicate garment bag. The
mesh bag included in your package will work for this too!

When should I wash my Yoga-Paws grips?
We recommend washing your Yoga-Paws grips after each use.  It only takes 60-90 second!
Just like washing your hands.  By keeping your Paws clean you keep the dirt and oils that
come out of your pores when you perspire from accumulating within the towel liner of your
Yoga-Paws.
